Cleveland, Ga. – Truett McConnell women's lacrosse was recognized by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association as part of the Academic Honor Squads and 2026 Honor Roll, the organization announced Wednesday afternoon.
 
The IWLCA nominates programs and individual athletes annually for achievements in the classroom while maintaining excellence on the field. In total, 357 schools were named on the Honor Squads list and 64 athletes across 11 NAIA institutions were awarded. On the 2026 Honor Roll.
 
To qualify as a team, programs must present a grade point average of at least a 3.2 for the academic year. Individual athletes must earn a minimum of a 3.5 GPA to qualify for the Honor Roll.
 
TMU was one of nine NAIA schools to receive the Honor Squad award and the only school from the Appalachian Athletic Conference. Two Lady Bears were named to the Honor Roll in Marlo McBrayer and Savannah Watkins.
