CLEVELAND, Ga. (March 13, 2025) - On Thursday, the Truett McConnell University women's lacrosse team hosted Huntingdon College for a non-conference mat h-up where the Lady Bears recorded a dominating performance with a final score of 20-5. TMU rises to an overall record of 2-6
PLAY-BY-PLAY
Shelby Nail scored the first goal for the Lady Bears in the first quarter. Goals by Marlo McBrayer and Aisley Whipple kept the momentum rolling as TMU held the lead 3-2. Whipple scored again to start the second quarter. Goals by Savannah Watkins and McBrayer extended the Lady Bears lead. A final goal by Nail finalized a big second quarter for TMU, raising the lead to seven points.
Caelyn Hatcher started off the second half with an early goal. Nail quickly followed with a goal of her own. Final goals by McBrayer and Nail closed out the third quarter (16-4). TMU remained strong till the end as final goals by Whipple, Nail and McBrayer end the game with a win. Final score of 20-5.
LEADERS
Nail led the Lady Bears today with nine goals, while McBrayer had four goals and six draw controls. Whipple and Watkins each tallied three goals, while Hatcher had one goal. Marcum was featured recording eight saves on the evening.

The Lady Bears will travel to Waleska, Georgia on Wednesday, March 19 to face Reinhardt University for their AAC opener. Game time set for 5:00 p.m.
