ATLANTA, Ga. (March 21-22, 2025) – On Friday-Saturday, the Truett McConnell University men's and women's track and field teams traveled to compete in the Emory spring Break Classic hosted by Emory University, where the Bears and Lady Bears recorded multiple top performances.

Most notable on the women's side, Allison Craft was featured finishing in first place in the 10,000m race with a time of 43:22.43.
Grace Jones found a fourth-place finish in the hammer throw with a mark of 44.64m, setting a new program and personal record. The 4x400m relay team, featuring
Emma Hefner, Autumn Shepard,
Destinee Lovejoy and
Myesha Hall, recorded a fifth-place finish (4:10.53), while Hall individually finished seventh in the 200m dash with a time of 25.00 seconds.

Leading the way for the men's team was
Connor Morgan who finished in first place overall in the 800m race with a time of 1:52.88.
Elijah Goddard showed his grit finishing in second in the 200m dash (21.44) and sixth in the 100m dash (10.62).
Dylan Simms also showed his grit by finishing in the second place in the shot-put throw (15.82m), while the 4x400m relay team, featuring
Matthew Bryant,
Bryson Swartz,
Elijah Nelson and Morgan finished in third (3:18.88). Rounding out the results for the Bears,
Marco Flores finished in sixth in the 3,000m steeple chase (10:34.78).
