Bears finish runner-up in region

CLEVELAND, Ga. (November 18, 2024) – The Truett McConnell University competitive gaming team is set to take on Newman University on Wednesday, November 20 at 5:00 p.m. in a League of Legends playoff match-up. 
 
The Bears finished second in their region with a record of 5-2 in League of Legends matchups proving to be a tough contender in the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE). Most notable, Charles Fenton and Landon Guthrie proved to be key players for the League of Legends team, with Guthrie being named team Most Valuable Player for his solid performances this season.
