ROME, Ga. (March 4, 2023) - On Saturday, the Truett McConnell men's track and field team traveled to compete in the Victor Icebreaker Duals, hosted by Berry College.

Leading the way for the Bears was sophomore Cameron Alamia who finished first in the 100m dash with a time of 10.65. The Bears 4x100m relay team featuring Kolby Liesen, Alamia, Gary Oaks and Brett Wilgus, recorded a first place finish, with a time of 43.16 seconds. Sophomore Connor Morgan followed by placing second in the 800m race with a time of 1:56.35. Rounding out the running events for TMU was the 4x400m relay team featuring Jaden Wilkerson, Morgan, Liesen and Donald Swinson finished fifth overall (3:30.57).

In the field events, Austin Mathis finished second in discus with a mark of 43.25 meters, followed by Seth Fowler in fifth with a mark of 39.49 meters.

The Bears will travel to Myrtle Beach, S.C. to compete at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Invitational hosted by Coastal Carolina University on Friday, March 10 - Saturday, March 11.
