ATLANTA, Ga. (March 25, 2023) On Friday-Saturday, the Truett McConnell University Men's Track and Field team traveled to compete at the two-day Emory Thrills in the Hills meet, hosted by Emory University. The Bears were featured finishing 11th out of 27 teams. 

LEADERS

Leading the way for the Bears was Cameron Alamia, who finished second in the 200m dash with a time of 21.58 seconds, along with finishing third in the 100m dash with a time of 10.85 seconds. The 4x800m relay team, featuring Connor Morgan, Donald Swinson, Brycen Swartz and Luke Palmer, finished in second with a time of 8:05.14, while the 4x100m relay team, featuring Colby Liesen, Alamia, Gary Oaks and Brett Wilgus finished seventh (42.62). In the field events, Seth Fowler was seen finishing seventh in the shot put throw with a mark of 13.35 meters.

The Bears will travel to Central, S.C. on Saturday, April 1, to compete at the SWU Gotta Run Invitational, hosted by Southern Wesleyan University.
