MARIETTA, GA. (January 28, 2023)—The Truett McConnell University men's track & field team traveled on Saturday to compete at the Life U Indoor/Outdoor Challenge, hosted by Life University.

Leading the way for the Bears in the running events,  the 4x400m relay saw Colby Liesen, Jaden Wilkerson, Luke Palmer and Connor Morgan grab a first-place finish (3:37.10). The 4x800m, featuring Morgan, Donald Swinson, Adam Granade and Palmer plaed first overall (8:57.39), followed by Micheal Nash in the 400m who placed seventh overall (55.02).

In the field events, Austin Mathis placed fourth in the men's shot put, with a mark of 13.84m, followed by Seth Fowler in sixth (13.57m), and Dylan Simms in seventh (13.23m). In the men's Long Jump, Liesen finished seventh jumping 5.18m. 

Up next, the Bears travel to Central, S.C. on Saturday, March 4, to compete in the Susan Rouse Invitational.
