CLEVELAND, Ga. – Truett McConnell women's basketball (1-2) takes on games three and four of a five-game road trip tomorrow evening at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Ariz.) (1-2) at 6 p.m. ET and Saturday night at Arizona Christian University (1-0) at 9 p.m. ET.

The Lady Bears and Eagles faced off in 2025, a 69-50 victory for the latter as a 17-6 third quarter put the stamp on the game in Cleveland. It will be the first matchup between TMU and ACU on Saturday.

The Eagles start the year 1-2, a record being a result of an opening win at Judson University (64-51) before back-to-back losses at Saint Xavier University (81-58) and vs. Corban University (89-74). In 2025-26, the team finished 9-17 overall with a 6-10 mark in Great Southwest Athletic Conference play.

Elizabeth Cota-Gaxiola led the team in scoring with 13 points while Marina and Honesty Interiano both accumulated double-doubles. The latter also reached 19 rebounds with eight being offensive.

The Lady Bears start the year 1-2 with back-to-back losses to Talladega (73-40) and Georgia Gwinnett (65-54) followed by a 51-42 win over Toccoa Falls. In the win, TMU outscored the Screaming Eagles a combined 40-23through three quarters of play.

Geory LaMark led the Lady Bears vs. Toccoa Falls with a double-double effort, scoring 12 points while collecting ten rebounds.
