Gabriel Stewart also recorded double-digit figures with ten points off the bench while
Samaria Sims tied with Queen for rebound leader with eight of her own.
Â
A layup by Queen put Truett in front before a three-point shot by A'Kayla Perry flipped the lead to the Grizzlies. A foul put Sims at the free throw line where she made both attempts from the charity stripe.
Â
A pair of free throw shots by Georgia Gwinnett started a scoring run of 11-0 which resulted in a 14-4 advantage. A three by

Â
Down 28-13 midway through the second, a triple by
Brinkley Kate Reed and a fastbreak layup by

Â
A jumper in the paint by Sims made it a one-possession game for the first time since the first quarter before five unanswered points by the Grizzlies pushed the margin to seven. The two teams held even as every shot made by Truett was answered by the home squad. At the quarter ending buzzer, Georgia Gwinnett had control with a 44-36 lead.
Â
After a
Alissa Winters layup to start, the Grizzlies put the game in their hands with two triples in the span of two minutes. The Lady Bears could only get it within nine points three rest of the way as they suffered their second loss of the season.
