CLEVELAND, Ga. – Truett McConnell women's volleyball stays at home for an Appalachian Athletic Conference midweek match against Columbia International University tomorrow evening at 6:30 p.m.
The Lady Bears are 17-7 overall and hold a 7-3 conference record in AAC play. They had a winning stretch last week going 2-1 through three matches, defeating SMC and Union Commonwealth while losing to Johnson on Saturday.
The Rams have a 14-match winning streak in the series which includes a 3-0 win on Sept. 22 in Columbia. The last time the Lady Bears won in the series was in 2020, with the last home win coming in 2018.
After starting 0-2 in conference play, the Rams have rallied off seven straight wins, six of which have been in three-set fashion. The team currently stands in fourth in the AAC standings.
Offensively for the Rams, Mary Norwood is the leader with 2.82 kills per set while hitting .237 on the year. On the set, Macy Brooks averages 5.79 assists per set and Ashley Burgbacher has collected 20 aces through 69 sets. On defense, Burgbacher also leads with 4.96 digs per set while Savannah Kelly has 67.0 total blocks.

Faith Clarkson is the kill leader with 1.81 per set and 154 total while
Julia Fisher is recording 1.76 kills per set.
Grace Lamontagne and
Caroline Yeager control the set with 272 and 270 assists, respectively. The former had a standout performance on Sept. 19, producing 21 assists and 16 digs in the 3-2 win over Reinhardt. Yeager also leads on total aces with 37.
Adleigh Schwier is the primary libero with 194 total digs and 2.26 digs per set. As a team, TMU ranks first in total aces and aces per set.
