BEREA, Ky. (September 13, 2025) – On Saturday, the Truett McConnell University men's and women's cross country teams traveled to compete in the Mike and Mary Johnson Classic, hosted by Berea College, where the Bears finished in fifth place overall, while the Lady Bears finished in third place.
Connor Morgan was seen leading the way for the Bears, finishing seventh with a time of 29:15:01. Following close behind,
Gibson Horner finished 12
th with a time of 29:32:02, while
Cade McNeill finished 17
th (30:32:06). Rounding out TMU's results,
Colin Fernandez finished with a time of 32:38:06,
Andrew Nix at 32:48:08, and
Jonah Lavendar at a time of 37:43:09.
Riley Stevens led the way strong for the Lady Bears finishing in fifth with a time of 21:26:04, while
Isabella Laughton followed close behind finishing in seventh with a time of 21:45:02. The remainder of the Lady Bears included
Naomi Stonesifer finishing with a time of 23:54:08,
Yazmeilyn Diaz at a time of 24:37:01, and
Autumn Shepherd at 25:05:07.
Up next, the Bears and Lady Bears will travel on Saturday, September 20, to compete in the Yeti Invitational hosted by Cleveland community College.
