ACWORTH, Ga. (April 14-15, 2025) – On Monday-Tuesday, the No. 11 Truett McConnell University women's golf team competed in the Appalachian Athletic Conference Championship at Governor's Town Golf Club, where the Lady Bears finished runners-up out of eight teams with a final team score of 911 through three rounds. No. 9 SCAD-Atlanta was crowned AAC Tournament Champions, while the Lady Bears were seen besting No. 14 Milligan University who finished third and No. 22 University of Pikeville who finished fourth.

TMU was featured placing two Lady Bears on the All-Conference First Team (
Sylken-Leigh November and
Audrey Grace Holder) and two Lady Bears to the All-Conference Second Team (
Gracie Doke and
Brianna Bassett).

Holder and Doke led the way for the Lady Bears finished tied for fifth out of 43 golfers. Holder recorded a 75 in round one, a 79 in round two, and a 72 in round three, while Doke was featured shooting a 72 in round one, and a 77 in rounds two and three. November followed closely behind finishing tied for eighth with a 76, 78, and 76, while Bassett finished tied for 13
th (79, 77, 78).
Jala Stamey was featured finishing in 15
th with a 75, 78 and 84.

Up next, the Lady Bears await the final NAIA Women's Golf Rankings, set to be released on May 2, for a potential at large berth to the 30
thAnnual NAIA National Championships, set to take place on Tuesday, May 13-Friday, May 16.
