YPSILANTI, Mich. (May 12, 2025) – For the fifth consecutive year, the No. 12 Truett McConnell University women's golf team is headed to the NAIA National Championships on Tuesday, May 13-Friday, May 16 at Eagle Crest Golf Club in Ypsilanti, Michigan. 
 
The Lady Bears earned their place at nationals with an at-large bid due to a sharp performance as a team, as seen by TMU sitting pretty in the NAIA Top 25 for the entire duration of the season. TMU is one of three teams to represent the Appalachian Athletic Conference, including No. 9 SCAD Atlanta and No. 13 Milligan University. The Lady Bears are set to tee off at 8:20 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13 and 1:20 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14.
 
TMU's five-woman roster will include Sylken-Leigh November, Audrey Grace Holder, Gracie Doke, Brianna Bassett and Jala Stamey. The Lady Bears had a successful 2025 season, topping out at No. 12 in the NAIA National Top 25 Poll. According to Clippd, the Lady Bears also rank 12^th in the NAIA team rankings.
 
The Lady Bears finished in the top five in five tournaments in the 2024-25 season. One of TMU's most notable performance was the Dalton State Roadrunner Spring Invitational, where the Lady Bears finished in third place overall, defeating multiple NAIA-ranked competitors. Additionally, TMU finished runners-up out of eight teams at the Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament with a team score of 911. Two Lady Bears were named to the All-Conference First Team (November and Holder) and two Lady Bears were named to the All-Conference Second Team (Doke and Bassett).
