MOUNT BERRY, Ga. (March 8, 2025) – On Saturday, the Truett McConnell University women's track and field team traveled to compete in the Victor Ice Breaker Duals hosted by Berry College.
Most notable, senior
Myesha Hall solidified her spot at the NAIA National Championship in May with a dominating first place performance in the long jump, proving capable of increasing her season best to 6.07m, a NAIA A standard qualifying mark. Hall also proved to be a tough competitor on the track after earning a second-place finish in the 200m dash with a time of 25.28.
In the 400m hurdles, Autumn Shepard recorded a third-place finish with a time of 1:11.91.
Grace Jones recorded two fourth place finishes in the hammer (42.02m) and javelin (28.48m). The 4x100m relay team, featuring
Abigale Smith, Hall,
Brooke Wilmoth and Shepard, finished in fourth place (49.69).
