PENSACOLA, Fla. (December 1, 2025) – The Truett McConnell University women's soccer team continues its postseason journey as the No. 10 Lady Bears prepare to face No. 7 Grace College on Tuesday, December 2, in the NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship Round of 16. The match is set for 10:00 a.m. CST at the Ashton Brosnaham Soccer Complex in Pensacola, Florida.
TMU enters the Final Site after earning its eighth consecutive berth to the NAIA National Championship Opening Round and securing its first-ever opportunity to host. The Lady Bears advanced with a 4–2 victory over Cumberland University (Tenn.) in the Second Round, improving to 19–1–1 on the season. TMU finished the year as AAC Season Champions, AAC Tournament runner-up, and ranked No. 12 in the final NAIA Top 25 Coaches' Poll.
Grace enters as the No. 7 seed after a strong season, while TMU arrives in Pensacola with momentum and key contributors across the roster. The Lady Bears continue to be led by AAC Player of the Year, AAC Offensive Player of the Year and Golden Boot winner Annabel Trauschke, attacking standout Isabella Hodson, who earned First Team All-Conference honors, defensive anchors Erin Ward and Marisol Esparza, and midfielder Celiane Pereira, the AAC Newcomer of the Year.
