SHELBY, N.C. (September 21, 2024) - On Saturday, the Truett McConnell University women's cross country team traveled to compete in the Yeti Invite hosted by Cleveland Community College, where the Lady Bears were crowned Invite Champions after finishing first overall out of four teams.
Most notable, freshman Evelyn Brodeen was featured finishing in first place out of 35 runners with a time of 20:28.1. Allison Craft followed closely behind finishing in third place with a time of 21:36.7, while Elle Sims finished in sixth place (22:13.5). Rounding out the Lady Bears results, Naomi Stonesifer finished in 12th (23:59.4) while Presley Madden finished in 20th (26:42.2).
Up next, the Lady Bears with travel to Chattanooga, Tenn. on Saturday, October 12 to compete in the Nooga at Night Invite hosted by Dalton State College.
