KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (November 8, 2024) – On Friday, the Truett McConnell University women's cross country team traveled to compete in the Appalachian Athletic Conference Championship, where the Lady Bears concluded their 2024 season after finishing in sixth place overall out of 12 teams with a score of 201 points.
Most notable, Evelyn Brodeen was featured finishing in 27th place out of 91 runners with a time of 23:56.48, along with finishing in the top seven of freshman finishers, proving capable of securing her spot on the AAC All-Freshman Team. Allison Craft followed the action finishing in 42nd with a time of 25:19.97, while Eleanor Sims finished in 52nd with a time of 26:26.92. Rounding out the Lady Bears results, Naomi Stonesifer recorded a time of 27:51.55, while Presley Madden finished with a time of 30:23.99.
