CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (October 12, 2024) – On Saturday, the Truett McConnell University men's and women's cross-country teams traveled to compete in the Nooga at Night invite hosted by Dalton State University, where the Bears finished in third place overall out of eight teams and the Lady Bears recorded a fifth place finish out of 10 teams.
Connor Morgan led the way for the Bears finishing in seventh place out of 79 athletes with a time of 15:29.8.
Marco Flores followed in 16
th place with a time of 15:52.3, while
Andrew Nix finished in 34
th (16:33.7).
Most notable for the Lady Bears, freshman
Evelyn Brodeen was featured finishing in 11
th of 80 athletes, recording a time of 18:55.3.
Allison Craft followed in 18
th place with a time of 19:39.5, while Eleanor Sims finished in 25
th (20:22.1).
Up next the Bears and Lady Bears will travel on Saturday, October 26 to compete in the Bob Jones Invitational, hosted by Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C.
