SHELBY, N.C. (September 21, 2024) - On Saturday, the Truett McConnell University men's cross country team traveled to compete in the Yeti Invite hosted by Cleveland Community College, where the Bears were crowned Invite Champions after finishing first overall out of six teams. 

Most notable, Connor Morgan was featured finishing in second place out of 46 runners with a time of 28:12.4. Marco Flores followed closely behind finishing in third (28:32.3) while Bryson Swartz finished in fourth (28:53.0). Caleb Giles finished in 11th (31:51.3), while Andrew Nix finished in 15th (32:15.6).

Up next, the Bears with travel to Chattanooga, Tenn. on Saturday, October 12 to compete in the Nooga at Night Invite hosted by Dalton State College.P
