YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. (December 31, 2023) – On Friday, the Truett McConnell University women's basketball team traveled to face Young Harris College in an exhibition match-up, where the Lady Bears recorded a dominating 21 point win over the Mountain Lions, with a final score of 68-47.
 
The Lady Bears had a successful first half, ending the first quarter leading by nine points (13-4) and continuing their momentum to increase the margin by 12 points in the seventh minute of the second quarter. TMU was featured tallying a combined total of 41 points in the third and fourth quarter to seal the deal on a Lady Bears win against the Division II team, with senior Alysee Dobbs contributing 23 points and freshman Alexis Brewster recording 15 points and nine rebounds.
