ATLANTA, GA. (March 25-26, 2022) — The Truett McConnell University women's track & field team traveled to compete at the Emory "Thrills in the Hills Open," hosted by Emory University on Friday-Saturday, where they finished ninth of 23 teams with 34 points.
Leading the way for the Lady Bears was Myesha Hall, who finished first in the long jump with a mark of 5.66m, punching her ticket to NAIA Nationals for her second event of the season. Katilyn Babb followed by placing first in javelin with a mark of 39.91m and Grace Jones placed sixth(30.30m).
In the 400m hurdles, Tenae Grigsby placed fourth with a time of 1:05.28, while the 4x100m relay team featuring Aaliyah Wilson, Hall, Brittany Linley, and Heaven Simmons placed third with a time of (49.14).
