ATLANTA, GA. (March 18-19, 2022) — The Truett McConnell University women's track & field team traveled to compete in the Emory Spring Opener, hosted by Emory University on Friday and Saturday, where they finished sixth out of 18 teams with 51 points.
Myesha Hall placed first in the long (5.41m) and triple jump, securing her spot at NAIA nationals with a mark of 11.57m in the triple jump. Katilyn Babb followed by placing first in Javelin with a mark of 38.63m.
In the 5000m run, Savannah Campbell placed second with a time of 18:26.12. In the 400m hurdles, Tenae Grigsby placed third (1:06.62), while the 4x100m relay team featuring Aaliyah Wilson, Hall, Ja'Taria Jackson, and Heaven Simmons placed fourth with a time of 49.08.
