GAINESVILLE, Ga. (Oct. 1, 2020) – The Truett McConnell University women's cross country season is set to begin on Friday evening at the North Hall Tri Meet, hosted by Brenau University.

"I'm very excited about our women's squad this year," Head Coach Jarret Holland said. "We've added several incoming freshmen to our team to help compliment the rest of our returners this fall. Hannah Canady (JUCO Transfer) and Simone Chock will help add depth to our roster.

Senior Ansley Cain and sophomore Savannah Campbell seem poised to have breakout seasons; both came into camp in shape and ready to go."

TMU will also return senior Haleigh Martin, who qualified for the NAIA National Championship in 2017. The Lady Bears will be without Ivie Nobles, a two-time NAIA National Championship qualifier.

Truett's schedule includes four total invitationals before the AAC Conference Championship in November, including a trip to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, for the Seminole Valley Stampede.
