MARIETTA, Ga. (February 22, 2025) – On Friday-Saturday, the Truett McConnell University wrestling team traveled to compete in the Appalachian Athletic Conference Wrestling Championship, where the Bears finished in sixth place overall out of 10 teams after recording 47 team points. TMU was featured besting (RV) Brewton-Parker College who finished in seventh, while No. 2 Life University was crowned AAC Champions for the third consecutive season.

Most notable,
Phillip Terrell was seen showing his grit in the 285 weight-class finishing in third place overall after going 4-1 on the weekend with two falls and two decision wins, ultimately securing his spot on the All-AAC Team.
Will Parker followed finishing in fourth place in the 184-weight class, while
Chase Bond finished in fifth in the 157-weight class, both individually finishing 3-2 on the weekend.
