CLEVELAND, Ga. (Dec. 12, 2018) – The Truett McConnell University wrestling team hosted No. 16 Reinhardt University for their Appalachian Athletic Conference season opener. The Bears fell to the defending AAC champions, 51-0.

Will Davidson, at 141, had the closest battle of the night against the No. 20 ranked Reinhardt individual. Davidson led by two at the end of the third period, but Davidson was taken down at the end of the period leaving 2:45 of riding time on the clock which gave the Eagles another win (6-7).

Up next, the Bears will host AAC foe Bluefield College on Saturday, Jan. 5, at 2:00 p.m.
