CLEVELAND | The Truett McConnell women's basketball team is getting ready for its final game in the Bear Cave against Point University, a game that will serve at "Think Pink" Night. The team will be taking donations to go towards cancer research.
The team will also honor Brecklynn Allgood at the conclusion of the contest against the Skyhawks. Allgood, a four-year-old Gainesville native who, at the age of two, was diagnosed with Pleuropulmonary Blastoma that spread throughout her body, was declared cancer-free in October after finishing 30-plus treatments of chemotherapy and radiation, but, upon her recent normal scans, the cancer has returned in her brain.
The game will tip off at 5:30 p.m. in Cleveland. Donations will be taken throughout the night in the Bear Cave.
