CLEVELAND | The Truett McConnell wrestling team used two falls and four forfeits to muscle past Allen University, 48-3, Tuesday night in the Bear Cave.
After three forfeits to start the match, senior
Joe Hulen wrestled to a pin at the 5:36 mark to push the match to a 24-0 score.
David Capers, the second senior for the Bears, then put up a major decision at 165 pounds.
Tavion Askew then earned a technical fall at 184 pounds before
Jeff Chandler improved to 7-0 on the season with a fall at the 2:18 mark.
The Bears will next travel to Cumberland University for a dual match Friday night.
