BANNER ELK, N.C. – Truett McConnell cycling finished its third meet of the Fall season at Lees McRae College from Saturday, Sept. 19 through Sunday, Sept. 20.
 
In the cross-country events, Kayla Liles placed 28 in the women pro 1-2 with a time of 1:26:40.9 while Gianna Claxton placed 13^th in the Cat 2-3. Garrison Riker ended the men's Cat 1-2 race at 56^th.
 
In the Dual Slalom competitions, Brendan Powell and Riker, raced in the men's Pro 1-2, placing 45^th and 52^nd, respectively. Liles finished in 26^th in the women's Pro 1-2 event.
 
Riker placed 59^th in the short track men's pro ½ while Claxton finished in 13^th place in the short track Cat 2/3. In the dual downhill races, she placed eighth in the Cat 2/3 with a time of 5:05.47. for the men's overall ranking, Powell had a placement of 59^th out of 95 racers.
 
The Bears are back in action this weekend with the SECCC Championships at Brevard College from Sept. 26-27.
