Women's Soccer Preview: Southeastern University

The Lady Bears will play their second road game in a row in Lakeland, Fla.

CLEVELAND, Ga. – Truett McConnell women's soccer takes on its second road match in a row when it travels to Lakeland, Fla. to take on No. 17 Southeastern University at 3 p.m.
 
It is the third game that the Lady Bears will face a team featured in the 2026 NAIA preseason poll. They previously faced (RV) SCAD Savannah and No. 2 University of the Cumberlands.
 
In the series between the two teams, Southeastern leads the record since 2013 with a 3-0-2 mark. However, the past two contests have ended in draws.
 
The Fire are off to a 2-1 start to the 2026 season as they captured wins over Webber International (4-2) and No. 6 Missouri Valley (1-0). Southeastern most recently suffered a 201 loss to MidAmerica Nazarene in Olathe, Kan.
 
The team is led in scoring by Olivia Hadad with her three goals on the season, totaling six points through three games. Also collecting goals for the Fire are Edan Greenfield, Olivia Thomassy and Danielle Vogel. At keeper, Southeastern has featured Sofia Diaz and Madison Songer, with the former making two starts and the latter making one starts, respectively.
 
For the Lady Bears, Peyton Brooks and Agathe Braud have represented the scoring in the first two games, with both having one goal each. Goalkeepers Leire Najera Rodrigeuz and Noa del Rio have each made one start.
