CLEVELAND, Ga. – Truett McConnell University women's soccer has released its 2026 schedule.
 
Head coach David McDowell returns after a 19-2-2 campaign in 2025, which saw the team win the Appalachian Athletic Conference regular season championship. The Lady Bears also made an appearance in the NAIA National Tournament for the seventh year in a row. TMU will be looking for its fifth straight AAC regular season championship and its fourth AAC Tournament championship in five years.
 
Two scrimmages proceed the start of the regular season. The team travels to Life University on Aug. 7 and Georgia State on Aug. 16. The first match of the season has the team hosting SCAD-Savannah at the TMU Soccer Complex on Aug. 20 at 1 p.m. A third and final scrimmage takes place with Southern Wesleyan University on Aug. 22.
 
Two non-conference matches round up the month of August with road trips on Aug. 27 at the University of the Cumberlands and Aug. 31 with Southeastern University in Florida. AAC conference play beings on Sept. 12 with an away match at Montreat scheduled for 1 p.m. On Sept. 16, Columbia College comes to Cleveland for the conference home opener at 5 p.m. before Georgia Gwinnett travels to Cleveland for a non-conference Saturday night match on Sept. 19 at 7 p.m.
 
TMU takes a road trip to Athens, Tenn. for a midweek match against rival Tennessee Wesleyan on Sept. 23 at 2 p.m. Union Commonwealth will enter the TMU Soccer Complex for a Saturday morning match on Sept. 26 before the team ends the month on the road a Bryan College on Sept. 30.
 
Back-to-back home matches begin October with Milligan on oct. 3 and Brenau on Oct. 7. On Oct. 10, the Lady Bears travel to Kentucky to take on Pikeville for a 1 p.m. match. After that, they travel back down south with an away contest at Columbia International on Oct. 14 at 5 p.m. A three-match homestand occurs in the late stretch of the month with contests vs. Reinhardt on Oct. 21, Bluefield on Oct. 24 and Johnson University on Oct. 28.
 
TMU will be on the road for the regular season finale at Spartanburg Methodist on Oct. 31 at 12:30 p.m. The AAC Tournament will take place from Tuesday, Nov. 3 through Wednesday, Nov. 11
