CLEVELAND, Ga. (September 24, 2025) – On Wednesday, the Truett McConnell University's men's soccer team hosted Appalachian Athletic Conference opponent Bryan College, where the Bears shut-out the Lions, 5-0. TMU rises to an overall record of 6-3, 4-1 AAC 

PLAY-BY-PLAY 
In the first half, the Bears retained control of the game with a goal by Jovica Lazarevic, assisted by Marcos Martinez(1-0). An unassisted goal in the 32nd minute by Pablo Farrona increased TMU's lead to 2-0 as both teams entered halftime.

The Bears found the back of the net once more in the second half as a foul by the Lions in the box gave Marco Mandelka the ability to capitalize on a penalty kick scoring opportunity (3-0). Two final goals by Josh Oliver (Guillermo Peino) and Peino (Toby Berry), proved TMU to be no contest as the Bears secured the shut-out victory, 5-0.

LEADERS 
Peino led the way for the Bears with one goal and one assist. Lazarevic followed with one goal, taking five shots, while Farrona, Mandelka and Oliver recorded one goal a piece. Martinez and Berry were each featured tallying one assist a piece.

The Bears will travel to face Milligan University on Saturday, September 27 for an AAC match-up. Kick-off set for 4:00 p.m.
