CLEVELAND, Ga. (August 27, 2025) – On Saturday-Sunday, the Truett McConnell University cycling team is set to host the first race of the 2025 Southeast Collegiate Cycling Conference Mountain Biking season.
 
TMU will be welcoming back seven returning Bears, along with two newcomers to the program. Amongst this group of returners are senior Aubree Behers, and juniors Garrison Riker, Meridith James, Aiden VanLaar, and Avery VanLaar. 
 
This weekend's race will feature two days of competition, with Cross Country and Dual Slalom set for Saturday, while Short Track XC and Downhill will be held Sunday. 
 
TMU will compete in two more races this month before traveling to the SECCC Championship hosted by Lees-McRae College on Saturday, September 27-Sunday, September 28.
