NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 8, 2025) - On Monday-Tuesday, the No. 15 Truett McConnell University women's golf team traveled to compete in the Cumberland U Music City Invite where the Lady Bears earned a seventh place finish out of 17 teams with a team score of 894 through three rounds. TMU was featured besting multiple ranked teams including No. 22 University of Pikeville who finished eighth, No. 11 Southeastern who finished ninth, No. 12 Milligan who finished 10th, No. 21 Hope International who finished 12th, and No. 24 Cumberland University who finished 13th.
"There were a lot of incredible accomplishments this week for the ladies," said Head Coach Steve Patton.
Most notable, Gracie Doke was featured earning a tenth place finish out of 97 golfers after recording a 65 in round one, a tie for the lowest one day total in TMU women's golf program history, a 78 in round two, and a 77 in round three. As a team, the Lady Bears were also featured tying the one day total record with a 286 team score (-2).
"The good news is that we remain hungry to play our best golf next week in the conference championship. I am proud of the hard work these ladies our putting in on and off the course to keep their academics in order, and their bodies physically and mentally sharp for the grueling task of playing 5 weeks in a row!"
Sylken-Leigh November followed closely behind tied for 34th with a 75, 76, 75, while Jala Stamey individual tied for 34th with a 72, 76, 78, featuring a hole in one in round one. Brianna Bassett (74, 77, 76) and Nicoline Eide (79, 70, 78) tied for 38th, while Audrey Grace Holder finished in 42nd (77, 75, 76).

The Lady Bears will travel on Monday, April 14 - Tuesday, April 15 to compete in the Appalachian Athletic Conference Championship at the Governor's Golf Course in Acworth, Georgia.
