PLAY-BY-PLAY
In the first quarter, the Lady Bears were first to the board with a layup by Caleeya Duke, but TC quickly took control of the game with a strong offensive start. Despite efforts by Duke and solid defensive stops by the Lady Bears, Talladega created a steady lead to end the first quarter up 11-2. In the second quarter, TMU began to find their rhythm as a jumper by Madison Aguilera sparked some offense for the Lady Bears. Duke continued to add to the scoreboard with points in the paint, while Aguilera connected on a three-pointer to keep TMU in range. However, Talladega's shooting success extended their lead heading into halftime, 35-11.

The third quarter saw the Lady Bears come out energized, scoring 18 points while holding Talladega to 15. Aguilera continued to lead offensively, knocking down a pair of three-pointers, while Duke capitalized on free throws to help TMU close the gap to 50-29 heading into the fourth quarter. In the final quarter, the Lady Bears continued to battle, but Talladega's momentum proved too much to overcome. Despite strong efforts from Duke and Aguilera, TMU ultimately fell 77-40.
