WALESKA, Ga. (October 15, 2025) – On Wednesday, the No. 11 Truett McConnell University women's soccer team traveled to face Reinhardt University for an Appalachian Athletic Conference match-up where the Lady Bears recorded a 1–0 road victory over Reinhardt University in an intense battle. The Lady Bears extended their win streak to 10 and improve to a 12-0-1 record overall, 9-0 AAC.

In the first half, TMU applied early pressure, earning multiple corner kicks within the opening 20 minutes.
Eden Greenfield and
Celiane Pereira each tested the Eagles keeper with close-range shots, while goalkeeper
Danica Wittmann recorded two key saves in the 25th and 33rd minutes to keep the game level. Despite TMU controlling much of the possession, the half ended in a 0–0 stalemate.
Coming out of halftime, the Lady Bears maintained their aggressive tempo. In the 57th minute,
Annabel Trauschke nearly put TMU on the board with a header that sailed just high. TMU continued to press forward, with
Isabella Hodson and
Marisol Esparza orchestrating several key chances. After continued persistence, TMU finally broke through in the 83rd minute when
Anabella Moron found the back of the net for her first goal of the season, capitalizing on a loose ball inside the box to give the Bears the 1–0 lead. TMU held firm in the final minutes to record the AAC win with a final score of 1-0.
LEADERS
Moron led the way tallying one goal. Trauschke followed with six shots, five on goal, while Hodson tallied four shots, three on goal. Wittmann tallied two saves on the evening helping her earn her eighth clean sheet of the season.
