CLEVELAND, Ga. (October 18, 2025) – On Saturday, the No. 11 Truett  McConnell  University  Women's  Soccer team traveled to face Bluefield  University  for an Appalachian Athletic Conference matchup where the Lady Bears came away with a 2–0 road victory. TMU improves to 13-0-1 overall record and remains undefeated in conference play (10-0).

PLAY-BY-PLAY
The Lady Bears struck first in the 31st minute when Peyton Brooks finished off an assist by Saige Peterson, giving TMU a 1–0 lead. From there, TMU stayed sharp defensively, limiting Bluefield to zero shots on goal through the rest of the first half.

In the second half, TMU maintained control when an unassisted goal by Brooks found the net once more in the 72nd minute to double the lead. TMU held firm during the final minutes to preserve the shutout victory over the Rams, 1-0.

LEADERS
Brooks led the way for TMU with two goals. Peterson followed with a solo assist, while Abby Sheriff was seen taking eight shots, five on goal. TMU was featured outshooting the Rams 26-0.
