TMU opens the season with a record of 1-0, while BPC falls to a record of 0-2-1.

PLAY-BY-PLAY

In the first half, BPC wasted no time taking three consecutive shots, but the Bears stayed strong in the box keeping the Barrons from finding the back of the net. TMU quickly took control of the game taking three shots of their own as the Bears attempted to put the first goal on the board. In the 16th minute TMU received their first big break, when Oscar Brennan found an opening to score the first goal of the evening, assisted by Pablo Farrona (1-0). The Bears continued to work together, eager to put up another goal, when a good ball by Farrona set Max Farris up to secure another shot in the net, ending the first half with the Bears leading by two (2-0).

The second half saw BPC first to the net, scoring their first goal of the evening (2-1). TMU quickly responded in the 54th minute with another goal by Farris, assisted by Jovica Lazarevic (3-1). The Barrons, eager to decrease the gap, once again found the back of the net, but the Bears did not lose speed, adding two more goals of their own to the board by Josep Moral, assisted Roman Reynolds, and by Farrona, assisted by Gavin Eddy (5-2). BPC found their final goal of the evening in the 74th minute as the Barrons attempted to outplay the Bears, but ultimately proved no contest as a final unassisted goal by Lazarevic concluded TMU's stellar performance under the lights, resulting in a Bears win with a final score of 6-3.
