TWU had a strong first quarter, putting up eight goals, forcing the Lady Bears to respond with three of their own by
Kaitlyn Morgenroth,
Katie Smith, and
Mackenzie Tyler (3-8). The Bulldogs continued to increase their lead with four more goals and holding TMU to one by Morgenroth (4-12).Â

TMU did not lose heart as they entered the second half, holding TWU on defense to three goals and scoring five of their own, featuring two by Smith and one apiece by Morgenroth, Tyler and
Marlo McBrayer (9-15). The final quarter saw the Lady Bears eager to change the outcome of the game, proving capable of finding the back of the net six more times with McBrayer and
Shelby Nail scoring three goals apiece. Despite the Lady Bears strong second half, TWU was ultimately able to hold on to the win, falling with a final score of 19-15.

McBrayer led the way for TMU with four goals, taking five shots, all on goal and tallying five ground balls and nine draw controls. Nail followed with three goals and three assists, while Morgenroth and Smith tallied three goals apiece and Tyler had two goals and one assist. Goalie
