HATTIESBURG, Miss. (March 15-16, 2024) On Friday-Saturday, the Truett McConnell University Beach Volleyball team travelled to compete in a two-day tournament. The Lady Bears finished 2-1 on the weekend, falling to Loyola University (5-0) and bouncing back to defeat the University of Mobile (3-2) and William Carey University (3-2). The Lady Bears rise to an overall record of 9-7. 
 
"I am so proud of this team for overcoming adversity this week with sickness and weather delays," said Head Coach Joe Herrera. "The ladies worked hard all weekend and were able to finish the trip 2-1 after facing some tough competition. I'm very excited to see how the remainder of the season goes with this team."
