CLEVELAND, Ga. (February 5, 2026) - The Truett McConnell University Women's Beach Volleyball team is set to open their 2026 season on Thursday, where the Lady Bears will host their first invitational of the season.
 
Women's Beach Volleyball had a great 2025 season, finishing 20-13 overall, 8-4 SUN. The Lady Bears were featured earning national recognition in the week two and three releases of the 2025 NAIA Women's Beach Volleyball Coaches' Top 10 Ratings, receiving votes. TMU was featured qualifying for the SUN Conference Tournament earning the No. 5 seed spot, finishing 2-1. The Lady Bears went on to conclude their season at the AVCA Small College Championship where TMU finished 2-3 on the weekend.
 
Amongst the core group of returners for the Lady Bears are seniors, Sameily Marquez, Emma Boland, and Camille Godfrey. TMU will be welcoming eight incoming Bears to the program.
 
The Lady Bears are set to face Georgia Highlands College (8:00 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.) and Emmanuel University (10:30 a.m.) this Friday and will host two more tournaments this season on February 13-14 and March 13-14.
