CLEVELAND, Ga. (February 17, 2024) - On Saturday, the Truett McConnell University baseball team hosted Reinhardt University in the final game of the Appalachian Athletic Conference matchup, where the Bears fell 10-2 to the Eagles, ultimately dropping the series. 

PLAY-B-PLAY
Jordan Kenty set the stage for the Bears in the bottom of the first inning with an RBI single to left field to score Brodie Genter and secure the lead (1-0). The Eagles wasted no time as they added runs of their own, forcing TMU to work under pressure for the remaider of the game (1-6). A Caleb Ramsey single to left field offered TMU hope as they chipped at the Eagles lead, but it was ultimatley not enough as the game concluded with a final score of 2-10. 

LEADERS
Griffith led the way for the Bears at the plate going 2 for 5, followed by Genter and Kenty who indidivudally went 2 for 4 at the plate, with Kenty earning a single RBI. Ramsey was featured going 1 for 3 at the plate with one RBI.
