CLEVELAND, Ga. (November 9, 2024) – On Friday and Saturday, the Truett McConnell University wrestling team opened their 2024 season with back-to-back duals against No. 12 Reinhardt University and No. 3 Southeastern University, where the Bears suffered a tough loss against the Eagles, 44-8, and against the Fire, 42-4.
 
Most notable, TMU was featured recording two consecutive falls in the 174-weight class (Christian Anderson) and 184-weight class (Will Parker) against Reinhardt, while Tyler Ramos showed his grit in the 125-weight class, recording a major decision win, 13-3, against the Southeastern Fire.
 
Up next, TMU will travel to Des Moines, Iowa on Saturday, November 16 to compete in the Grand View Open hosted by Grand View University.
