HATTIESBURG, Miss. (October 1, 2024) - The No. 17 Truett McConnell University women's golf team traveled to compete in the Carey Collegiate, hosted by Williams Carey University on Monday-Tuesday, where the Lady Bears put up a fight through a tough field of competition to secure sixth place out of 10 teams with a score of 934 through three rounds. No. 10 Lindsey Wilson was crowned tournament champion, while No. 5 Texas Wesleyan finished runners-up. TMu was featured besting No. 25 Cumberland University by 17 strokes (951). 

Sylken November and Audrey Grace Holder led the way for the Lady Bears individually finishing tied in 17th after shooting a 230 through three rounds, while Nicoline Eide and Gracie Doke individually recorded a 238 and Jala Stamey recorded a 240. Brianna Bassett rounded out the results for TMU with a 247. 

Up next, the Lady Bears travel on Monday, Oct. 14 - Tuesday, Oct. 15 to compete in the Lindsey Wilson Bay Invitational at the Gibson Bay Golf Course.
