CLEVELAND, Ga. (October 1, 2024) – On Tuesday, the Truett McConnell University women's volleyball team hosted St. Andrews University for an Appalachian Athletic Conference match-up, where the Lady Bears proved victorious sweeping the Knights, 3-0 (25-19, 25-7, 27-25). TMU rises to a record of 5-10, 3-3 AAC, while SAU falls to a record of 0-14, 0-7 AAC.

PLAY-BY-PLAY
In set one, the Lady Bears were first to make their mark with a five-point rally, featuring kills by Sameily Marquez and Elizabeth Franklin, a solo block by Franklin, and a service ace by Emma Boland. The Lady Bears continued to capitalize on their early lead with kills by Katie Williams and Jordan Roberts propelling TMU forward. A final kill by Franklin ultimately sealed the deal on a set one win, 25-19.
