CLEVELAND, Ga. (March 27, 2022) – On Monday, the Truett McConnell University women's lacrosse team hosted Emmanuel College for a non-conference match-up inside the TMU Soccer/Lacrosse Complex, where the Lady Bears fought hard, but ultimately fell to a loss of 20-1.

In the first quarter, Emmanuel was first to score putting up seven points (7-0). The second quarter saw Emmanuel score six more goals forcing the Lady Bears to work hard from behind (13-0). In the third quarter, the Lady Bears stayed sharp on defense, holding the Lions to only three goals (17-0). In the final quarter, a last chance effort by
Madison Franklin attempted to decrease the gap, but it ultimately wasn't enough, resulting in a final score of 20-1.
LEADERS
Franklin led the way with one goal, taking two shots, one on goal and two ground balls.
Shelby Nail followed taking three shots, with one on goal and four ground balls.
Gracie Wilber took two shots and had two ground balls.
Up next, the Lady Bears will host Georgetown College on Wednesday, March 29, for their last home game of the season. Game time is set for 3:00 p.m., inside the TMU Soccer/Lacrosse Complex.
