CLEVELAND, Ga. (March 22, 2023) – On Wednesday, the Truett McConnell University men's volleyball team hosted Appalachian Athletic Conference rival Reinhardt University for the Bears regular season finale inside the Harris Athletic Complex, where the Bears fell short in three tough sets (9-25, 17-25, 18-25). TMU concludes the regular season with an overall record of 0-16, 0-10 AAC.  

PLAY-BY-PLAY 
The Eagles took an early lead, but kills from Alex Bosman and Adam Shuman put TMU on the board, while kills from Jackson Adams, Nathan Hill and Kyle Gregory worked to cut at the margin. A two-point rally saw kills from Bosman and Hill, but the Eagles late four-point rally left TMU to fall short (9-25). In set two, the Bears worked quick with a kill from Gregory, followed by a kill from Shuman to remain evenly matched. Kills from Hill and Wensky Saintilmond kept the Bears competitive, until a late rally from the Eagles widened the gap (17-25). In the final set, the Eagles were first to score, but the Bears were resilient with a kill from Hill and Gregory to stay within margin. Kills and a service ace from Bosman brought TMU within two, until a late five-point rally from the Eagles left the Bears to fall in the final set (18-25).

LEADERS 
Hill led the way with six kills, while Bosman tallied five kills, one service ace, and eight digs. Gregory recorded five kills and one block, while Adams contributed seven digs.

The Bears will travel to compete in the Appalachian Atheltic Conference Tournament Thursday, March 30-Saturday, April 1, hosted by Life University.
