CLEVELAND, Ga. (March 12, 2023) – The Truett McConnell University shooting sports team is set to compete at the NCSSAA National Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada on Monday, March 13-Sunday, March 19. Eight Bears were seen punching their individual ticket to nationals and are set to compete for a national title. 

Sporting saw five Bears qualify for nationals, skeet saw two Bears qualify for nationals and trap saw Ethan Ledford punch an individual ticket to nationals. 

The National Championships will take place over six days with individual events occurring on different days.

Wednesday, March 15: 

1. American Trap Doubles - 100 targets

Friday, March 17:

2. Sporting Clays - 50 targets 

3. American Skeet Shoot-offs 

Saturday, March 18: 

1. American Trap - 100 targets 

2. Sporting Clays - 50 targets 

3. American Trap and Sporting Clays Shoot-offs
