LAS VEGAS, Nev. (March 13-19, 2023) – On Monday-Saturday, the Truett McConnell University shooting sports team concluded their official 2023 season at the National Collegiate Shooting Sports Athletic Association National Championship, where TMU recorded top 25 finishes and personal bests.
Leading the way for the Bears individually was Drew Weber who tied for 16th in the American Skeet shooting event with a score of 87. Ethan Ledford followed in American Skeet tying 18thwith a score of 85. Weber also finished tied in 18th in the Sporting Clays event with a score of 76, while Kason Gooch was featured recording a personal best in American Trap (90) and American Skeet (70), followed by Michael Bowen who recorded a personal best in American Trap (86) and American Skeet (74).
