CLEVELAND, Ga. (March 5, 2022) - On Saturday, the Truett McConnell University women's beach volleyball team competed in day two of the TMU Beach Tournament, where the Lady Bears suffered two hard-fought matches against Spartanburg Methodist College (3-2) and Lincoln Memorial University (4-1).
Most notable, match one saw a doubles win from
Elizabeth Franklin and
Morgan Cox (21-12, 21-14), followed by a doubles win from
Alana Davis and
Madyson Dunn (21-9, 21-8). Match two proved successful for doubles partners
Virginia Hudson and
Liana Newsum, who earned their first official win of the season (21-18, 24-22).
