CLEVELAND, Ga. (Mar. 4, 2022) – The Truett McConnell University women's beach volleyball team hosted Bob Jones University and Erskine College on Friday for a two-day tournament, inside the TMU Beach Volleyball Complex. On day one, the Lady Bears went 1-1, falling to Erskine College (5-0) and besting Bob Jones to secure the first ever win in program history (3-2).
Most notable, four doubles were featured earning individual victories on the day. Morgan Cox and Elizabeth Franklin secured their victory with a score of 2-0 (21-19, 21-18), while Alana Davis and Madyson Dunn earned their match win with a score of 2-1Â (19-21, 21-13, 15-10). Jordan Roberts and Sonya Silecky earned a match victory with a score of 2-0 (21-18, 21-13), followed by Virginia Hudson and Liana Newsum who recorded a final score of 2-0 (21-16, 21-16).
